The challenge

The brief explores how an independent architecture studio could present its point of view alongside a varied body of work. The brand needed to feel focused while letting each project speak.

The approach

We paired a simple typographic identity with generous project layouts and a consistent case-study structure. The visual system connects the studio introduction, project categories and detailed stories.

Design development

The identity concept gives the architecture the leading role. Typography is used for orientation and context, with a restrained palette and consistent captions linking drawings, interiors and finished spaces. The design balances broad photographic views with closer details, so the portfolio could describe both scale and material. Project names, categories and short introductions share one hierarchy. The aim is a recognisable studio voice that remains quiet enough to accommodate very different architectural projects.

The digital experience

The proposed portfolio would offer a clear route from a project index to a detailed case study. Each story would follow a consistent sequence: context, design intention, selected views and a closing description. This would help visitors compare the studio’s thinking across different projects without forcing every project into an identical image count. A CMS-based structure would keep titles, categories, summaries and project narratives together, while responsive layouts would preserve image proportions and readable captions on smaller screens.
